Lulu Blue is 17, and I feel like it’s all going by too quickly. I just want to pause everything for a minute. I am lucky to have her. She is kind, which I think is one of the most important traits in a person. All the other stuff, the get-by-in-the-real-world stuff is learned as we face successes and challenges, but kindness, you either have it or you don’t, and she has it. That makes me proud.

I was searching through my stuff to find my marigold yarn to make some cute pom-poms for my shipments ( I am always looking for cute ways to package orders!), and I came across this little picture of Lulu Blue and me. She was so very tiny, and I was so very young! A single mom at that point, and worried about making a life, but look at how lovely Lulu Blue is! I always bought her the cutest clothes! I loved those little pink moccasins. I found the yarn, and got some packages prepared to be shipped tomorrow. Cute, right? Love, Maca
I am going to do something I haven’t done before on this blog. I’m going to get a little personal. The world feels like it is imploding, and for me and Lulu Nlue it has definitely been a wild ride, more recently we have found ourselves starting from scratch. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just hard. We’ve had to do a lot of healing and I have had to take on many roles that I was unaccustomed to.
