It’s my niece’s birthday, and she asked me to make her favorite cake, so of course I said yes. I couldn’t just make a boring old cake, though. I wanted to make it more fun. She is not a little kid, but I feel like with everything going on in the world right now, we could all use a little cheering up.
Since blowing out candles is pretty much off the table right now, I though this might be a nice substitute. I didn’t leave much room for the usual “Happy Birthday” script, but I think it’s pretty cute anyway.
